Silent dialogues – Ten days of interactions/ performances in public space
Here you can see the documentation of Silent dialogues – Ten days of interactions/ performance in public – non public spaces with 7 participants.
Meeting not speaking, seeing the other, the others, the place, the space, listening, not seeing, sensing, touching, moving, just being, here. What can a body communicate in silence to other bodies? How can a space communicate to these mute bodies? From silence true listening can unfold. A silence that speaks to us in an unused tongue and is nonetheless ours. Wandering silent bodies into speaking spaces. To listen, to explore, to experiment, to witness in silence. We are our own spectators. We create our own consciousness.

Ten meetings, ten settings.
Kottbussertor metro passage – day 1
Listen, the chaos is around you. Play with it. Umbrella, set of cards, colorful paper, perfume, wool, and the irritated glimpse of the passing crowd.
Botanic Garden – day 2
Looking for a meaning of this game, this unseen complicity. Discovering new territories, between foreign organic beings.
Shopping mall – day 3
Invading the shopping window while embodying a display mannequin.
This place makes me feel anxious. We get lost but after this we, as group, find ourselves and constitute our interests in this activities.
Room 226 – day 4
Let your soul pour into the darkness of this room. Blind folded, pulling, pushing, touching… sounds.
In the Woods – day 5
After the sun sets, walking blind folded trough the forest, I can hear the wood cracking underneath my feet. My senses are alert. I lose orientation.
Soviet Monument – day 6
Walking backwards next to her, one time around the Memorial. It feels as if time was being rewind.
Rooftop parking – day 7
We draw lines simply by facing each other while standing 100 meters away. The other participants move, stop, correct their position.
Gleisdreieck wasteland – day 8
While wandering in the night through abandoned urban spaces, the path continues. We don’t look back but keep moving forward. I can see my breath.
Berlin Dome – day 9
We are here, inside and outside the church. Nobody knows that we are many, that we create our own sacred space between us.
Roof Attic – day 10
Trust me, I am here, nothing can happen to you. This is a labyrinth. A choreography unfolds. Dance with me in our own language. I can only hear your movements in the darkness.
